Check out the MindBody Syndrome (TMS) Practitioner Course this 2024!
Are you thinking of obtaining a recognized MindBody Coach Certification enabling you to specialize in healing chronic pain and other stress-induced neuroplastic symptoms?
Do you already believe that our emotional state has something to do with our wellbeing, and would like to delve a bit further into the Science behind this?
Perhaps you already know that the body can heal itself from a variety of chronic conditions, but you just don’t know how to put this into practise for yourself and others.
The MindBody Syndrome Practitioner Certification Course, which is delivered by the MindBodyFood Institute will help you get started by training you to coach people with a variety of chronic pain and symptoms that fall under Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS), today also called MindBody Syndrome and Neuroplastic Pain.
These symptoms include stress-related chronic back pain, chronic neck pain, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, unexplained neuropathic pain, as well as chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic pain syndrome (plus many more chronic conditions whose true origins remain medically unexplained).
Thousands of people have already recovered following the TMS/MindBody Syndrome approach, and so can you (and your clients!)
A Qualification for Holistic Health Coaches & Wellness Professionals
Whether you’re already a wellness professional or Health Coach who regularly comes across clients with chronic pain problems, or you’re so inspired by your own recovery that you now want to help others do the same, then the MindBody Syndrome Practitioner Certification Course is for you!
In it, we delve deep into the origins of psychophysiologic (TMS) pain (today also known as Neuroplastic Pain), and the processes that tend keep it alive in the body.
You’ll learn the difference between acute pain and chronic pain, explore the principal emotions and triggers behind the generation of chronic pain. We also go into a bit more detail on how individuals can work with the brain’s plasticity in order to decrease or even eliminate the pain response.
Primarily, you will learn how to help yourself and others uncover beliefs and behaviours that are keeping them stuck in the pain cycle, and how to challenge and change these behaviours.
This Course is one of the few accredited qualifications in TMS/MindBody Syndrome, enabling you to establish yourself as a certified TMS / Neuroplastic Pain Coach, even if you don’t have a background in medicine or psychology.
All that’s needed is a keen interest in the mindbody connection and neuroscience, and your commitment to implementing certain concepts into practice!
What is Tension Myositis Syndrome / MindBody Syndrome?
There is a great lack of education out there, when it comes to Tension Myositis Syndrome and Neuroplastic Pain. But things are starting to change!
TMS or MindBody Syndrome refers to all psychosomatic symptoms that have become conditioned in the body. This means that these symptoms first occurred due to a negative emotional state (being heightened anxiety or a past trauma), and persisted due to certain habits, behaviours and beliefs.
The conditioning process occurs when our brains learn to re-interpret certain triggers, so that we ‘learn’ to experience painful sensations even though there may be no injury or damage.
If you’re interested in the link between pain and brain plasticity, pain reprocessing as well as the role of emotions in the generation of chronic symptoms, then the MindBody Syndrome Practitioner Course will help you deepen your understanding of these concepts and apply them to help yourself and others overcome chronic pain.
Beyond Pain Management to Pain Recovery!
The aim behind the MindBody Syndrome Certification Course is to teach students how to aim for complete recovery from chronic TMS pain, rather than limiting themselves and their clients to pain management and pain relief.
The teachings in the course aim to bring permanent results, through an empowering psychological approach that requires the individual to take an active role in recovery.
WHAT THE APPROACH INVOLVES:
Rather than put the blame on past injuries or imperfections in the body, as a MindBody Syndrome Coach you’ll learn how to identify possible emotional factors behind chronic pain, and work with these in order to help individuals build the necessary habits needed to end the pain cycle altogether.
Among other things, you’ll learn:
The basics of Pain Neuroscience
What leads to Emotional Repression and Suppression and why this may manifest as physical symptoms;
How the Conditioning process works in relation to pain;
The thought patterns, habits and behaviours that keep pain and other symptoms alive;
How to cultivate thought patterns and behaviours that challenge the pain response;
How to align with your values and work with your personality traits to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation;
Visualisation, meditation and pain reprocessing techniques aimed at chronic pain relief and overall stress-reduction;
and much more!
WHAT IT DOESN’T INVOLVE:
The approach does not deal with the medical and structural aspects of pain, such as medication, physical therapy or other structural treatments, neither does it deal with conditions that are not due to TMS.
It is an alternative and exclusively psychological approach that can significantly help individuals that have been trying to heal from chronic pain and other symptoms without success, and who have already excluded serious medical conditions that require urgent treatment.
